An aqueous solution (with 0.1 % formic acid as a stabilizer) of allicin at 25 mg/mL. The main biologically active compound in garlic. It exerts various biological effects, including antiproliferative, chemopreventive, antioxidant, antihyperlipidaemic and antihypertensive effects. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer.
