PTDSS1, Recombinant, Human, aa1-35, GST-Tag (Phosphatidylserine Synthase 1)

Catalyzes a base-exchange reaction in which the polar head group of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) or phosphatidylcholine (PC) is replaced by L-serine. In membranes, PTDSS1 catalyzes mainly the conversion of phosphatidylcholine. Also converts, in vitro and to a lesser extent, phosphatidylethanolamine. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-35 from human PTDSS1, fused to GST-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
