Elastase, Neutrophil, Human (ELANE, ELA2, GE, HLE, HNE, NE, PMN-E, SCN1)

Human Elastase is a 28.5kD serine protease that has been purified from human neutrophils. Elastase is also present in the pancreas, leukocytes and serum. Source: Human Elastase, Molecular Weight: ~28.5kD, Activity: 20-22 U/mg protein, Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
