CD54 IgG2a Fc, Fusion Protein (Intercellular Adhesion Molecule, ICAM-1)

Human CD54 (ICAM-1) mediates cell adhesion by binding to the integrins CD11a/CD18 (LFA-1) and to CD11b/CD18 (Mac-1). CD54 expression on resting peripheral blood leukocytes is weak but is upregulated on activated T and B lymphocytes and on monocytes. Molecular Structure: A soluble dimeric fusion protein consisting of the extracellular (451aa) domain of human CD54 (including  signal peptide) fused to murine IgG2a Fc (232aa).
