CD137L, Soluble, Recombinant, Mouse (4-1BBL, TNFSF9)

The CD137 ligand (CD137L, 4-1BBL) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family. CD137L is a type II, transmembrane protein found on activated macrophages, dendritic cells and mature B cells. The interaction with its receptor 4-1BB induces recruitment of TNF receptor-associated factor 1 (TRAF1) and TRAF2 and interaction with the kinase p56lck. CD137 and CD137L have been reported to be involved in tumor rejection, apoptosis, anti-viral immunity, diabetes, in T and B cell co-stimulation and modulation of the immune response. Sequence: The extracellular domain of mouse CD137L (aa104-309) is fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag, expressed in HEK293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~40kD (SDS-PAGE), Endotoxin: <0.01EU/ug (LAL test, Lonza). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
