Product information "BglII"
Restriction enzymes are used to recognize a specific sequence of nucleotides and cut double stranded DNA into smaller fragments at a specific location. Each restriction enzyme recognises different DNA sequences. BglII is a Restriction Endonuclease purified from an Escherichia coli strain that carries the BglII gene from Bacillus globigii. BglII activity is not affected by Dam methylation as well as by Dcm and CpG methylations. The optimum reaction temperature is at 37 °C. Concentration: 10000 U/mL Reaction Buffer: NZYTech provides BglII with a specific buffer, NZYBuffer A. For double digestions please use 10x NZYBuffer U (MB110, not provided). Activity in NZYTech Buffers: NZYBuffer A: 100% NZYBuffer B: (100)% NZYBuffer C: (60)% NZYBuffer U: 100% () weak star activity is detected Minimize exposure of enzyme to temperatures higher than -20 °C. ". Shipping Conditions: Dry Ice. Storage Conditions: -30 °C to -15 °C. Application: DNA digestion. Features: Standard. Format: Liquid. Incubation Temperature: 37 °C.
