Nociceptin (1-11) (human, mouse, rat, porcine, bovine)

Nociceptin (1-11) is a peptide fragment of nociceptin (Cay-15070) and a ligand for the nociceptin opioid peptide (NOP) receptor. It binds NOP receptor 1 (Ki = 1. µM). Nociceptin (1-11) inhibits forskolin-induced cAMP accumulation in CHO cells expressing NOP receptor 1 (EC50 = 3. µM). It (5 or 10 µg) increases the latency to tail withdrawal from a radiant heat source in a rat model of neuropathic pain when administered at doses of 5 or 10 µg, i.c.v..
