Screening Libraries

Screening libraries contain a large number of different (natural) chemical compounds and are used, for example, for the development of new drugs. The combination of these libraries with a high-throughput screening allows researchers to analyze the effects of a wide range of small molecules on a given target (e.g. receptors, enzymes or ion channels) or a biological system in a fast and cost efficient way. This approach is primarily used for the discovery of chemical lead structures or biologically active molecules that are directed towards the selected target. In addition, this method is used for the evaluation of effector molecules and for receptor agonist arrays. Here, you will find a collection of “On-the-plate arrays” for the use with cells and the discovery of active compounds - the right tools for high-throughput drug discovery or compound analysis.
