Bodi Fluor(TM) 488 amine

Bodi Fluor 488 amine is an excellent building block for developing fluorescent probes. Bodi Fluor 488 is the same fluorophore as BODIPY FL (4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene FL). It is a popular lipophilic fluorescent dye molecule used in biology, chemistry, and materials science. BODI Fluor 488 has high fluorescence quantum yields, photostability, and brightness. When excited with light in the blue to green range (around 488 to 515 nanometers), it emits around 510 to 520 nanometers.
