Coenzyme Q9

Coenzyme Q9 (CoQ9) is a mitochondrial ubiquinone with a role in the electron transport chain. It reduces the incidence of ischemia and reperfusion-induced arrhythmia and improves post-ischemic heart rate, coronary flow, aortic flow, and left ventricular developed pressure in isolated guinea pig hearts when used at a dose of 5 mg/kg.
