Product information "HSE Luciferase Reporter Lentivirus (Heat Shock Response)"
The HSE (Heat Shock Response) Luciferase Reporter Lentiviruses are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles ready to transduce most mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. These viruses transduce cells with the firefly luciferase gene driven by multiple copies of the heat shock response element (HSE) located upstream of the minimal TATA promoter. The lentiviruses also transduce a puromycin selection gene (Figure 1). After transduction, the heat shock response in the target cells can be monitored by measuring luciferase activity. Figure 1. Schematic of the lenti-vector used to generate the HSE luciferase reporter lentivirus.
