The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of H3 in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 0.16--10ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.1ng/mL. Protein function: Core component of nucleosome. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability.
