The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of pNF-H in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 78.13--5000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 46.88pg/mL. Protein function: Neurofilaments usually contain three intermediate filament proteins: L, M, and H which are involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber. NF-H has an important function in mature axons that is not subserved by the two smaller NF proteins. [The UniProt Consortium]
