The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of PIGR/SC in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 31.25--2000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 18.75pg/mL. Protein function: This receptor binds polymeric IgA and IgM at the basolateral surface of epithelial cells. The complex is then transported across the cell to be secreted at the apical surface.
