The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of NOS3/eNOS in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 62.5--4000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 37.5pg/mL. Protein function: Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated signal transduction pathway. NO mediates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels and promotes blood clotting through the activation of platelets. [The UniProt Consortium]
