The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of LIF in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 31.25--2000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 18.75pg/mL. Protein function: LIF has the capacity to induce terminal differentiation in leukemic cells. Its activities include the induction of hematopoietic differentiation in normal and myeloid leukemia cells, the induction of neuronal cell differentiation, and the stimulation of acute-phase protein synthesis in hepatocytes.
