IgG, Human, Non-Immune Control

A healthy non-immunized population of humans was used to collect serum. IgG was prepared by ammonium sulfate, and column chromatography (Sephadex, and DEAE-ion exchange columns). The resulting preparation was judged to be >95% pure by IEP and SDS-Page. Source: Human normal serum. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA (coating), or as a non-immune control for ELISA, Dot Blot, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 10ug/ml, Dot Blot: 10ug/ml, Western Blot: 10ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher, Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
