Kataloge von Bertin Bioreagent

LEAP-2 ELISA Kit

LEAP-2 is part of the liver-expressed antimicrobial peptides family (LEAP). It is highly conserved among mammals and is expressed by the hepatocytes of the liver, by the small intestine, and by the central nervous system. The latest studies indicated that LEAP-2 has an anorexigenic drive and is an antagonist of ghrelin. Moreover, the plasmatic level of LEAP-2 is enhanced in obese patients. Bertin's ready-to-use LEAP-2 ELISA kit is based on the competition between unlabelled LEAP-2 and Biotin labelled LEAP-2 for limited specific rabbit anti-LEAP-antiserum sites. Its high sensitivity makes it the perfect kit for your metabolic disease research. Released May 2024.

Pre-analytical Sampling Tools

Sample handling has become an essential part in the modern analyst toolbox. In order to get the most reproducible results, it is critical to take care of the samples from the collection to the first step of the analytical procedure. At early stage after collection, several events may affect the concentration of the target compound. In order to fix the concentration as close as possible to the physiological concentrations, Bertin Bioreagent has developed a variety of solutions ranging from inhibitor cocktails to sampling tubes. Customized sampling tubes with different inhibitors can be prepared upon request. Released 2023.

CGRP in Complex Biological Matrices - White Paper

Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) has been identified as a key vasodilator neuropeptide involved in several pain and inflammation mechanisms. It has been shown that CGRP is released during migraines and that increase in circulating CGRP levels can trigger migraines in patients. To understand the complex mechanisms involved in chronic pain conditions, it is important to be able to measure the levels of neuropeptides associated with nociceptive pathways such as CGRP. This White Paper presents three protocols, in which Bertin Bioreagent ELISA kits were used for CGRP quantification. Released April 2022.
