Human albumin is a 66kD protein that binds and transports steroids, fatty acids, metal ions and thyroid hormones. Albumin accounts for approximately 50% of blood serum protein. Source: Human urine, Molecular Weight: ~66kD, Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoassays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store undiluted at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Should product contain a precipitate, microcentrifugation prior to use is recommended.
