Synthetic peptide based around an Inhibitor-2 peptide sequence that is phosphorylated by Casein Kinase 1(RRKDLHDDEEDEAMSITA) (linear). Two amino acid substitutions have been made to render the peptide refractory to Casein Kinase 2. The substitutions, which are underscored, are both glutamate residues in Inhibitor 2, Applications: Suitable as a substrate for Casein Kinase I.
