SIKVAV (acetate)

SIKVAV is a laminin alpha1-derived peptide. It binds to alpha3, alpha6, and beta1 integrins and induces adhesion of CAC2 adenoid cystic carcinoma cells when used at a concentration of 1 µg/ml. SIKVAV (100 µg/ml) stimulates the proliferation and migration of primary mouse fibroblasts, as well as induces the secretion of EGF, VEGF, TGF-beta, and FGF in the same cells.
