Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) (35-55) is an antigen peptide of MOG, a protein involved in demyelinating CNS disorders. MOG (35-55) in combination with heat-killed M. tuberculosis and complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) induces demyelination of the spinal cord, degeneration of the optic nerve, and visual impairments in mice.
