It exhibits potent activity against Gram-positive pathogens, notably MRSA strains, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) ranging from 32 to 64 µg/mL. HG4 targets bacterial lipids and diminishes ATP levels in S. aureus MRSA USA300 cells [1].
