Dynorphin B (1-9) is a neuropeptide and N-terminal cleavage product of dynorphin B, an endogenous opioid. Formation of dynorphin B (1-9) is blocked by N-ethylmaleimide (NEM), a non-selective inhibitor of cysteine peptidases.
