Antistasin-Related Peptide (D-Arg32) (Antistasin 32-38)

Antistasin, isolated from the Mexican leech Hementeria officinalis, is a 119 amino acid protein which is a selective and potent inhibitor of coagulation factor Xa. (D-Arg32)-Antistasin (32-38) is the shortest peptide displaying anticoagulant activity in human plasma (1,2). Reconstitute (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
