Amilo-5MER

Description: Amilo-5MER (5-MP) is an orally active and selective inhibitor of serum amyloid A (SAA). It specifically suppresses the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and IL-1beta in SAA-activated cells. Amilo-5MER reduces chronic inflammation and alleviates symptoms of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and multiple sclerosis (MS).
