It acts as a highly specific inhibitor of Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase II (CaMKII) with enhanced resistance to proteolysis. This compound is a derivative of Autocamtide-3, where the Thr-9 phosphorylation site is replaced by Ala. Target: CaMK
