Recombinant Human TAFA2/FAM19A2 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with hFc tag at the N-terminus.It contains Ala31-His131. Tafa is a family of small secreted proteins with conserved cysteine residues and restricted expression in the brain. It is composed of five highly homologous genes referred to as Tafa-1 to -5. FAM19A2/TAFA-2 induces skeletal stem cell migration through the activation of Rac1-p38 signaling and is highly abundant in the central nervous system and MIP1alpha regulates energy balance.
