Members of the FGF family have a broad range of mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in various biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. FGF-9 plays a crucial role in regulating embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and cell migration. Additionally, FGF-9 may be involved in the growth and differentiation of glial cells during development, glial proliferation during brain tissue repair and regeneration after injury, differentiation and survival of neuronal cells, and stimulation of the growth of gliomas. Recombinant Human FGF-9 is expressed by E.coli, and is produced with raw materials of pharmaceutical applicable level.
