Recombinant Human C-X-C motif chemokine 16 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Asn30-Thr205 is expressed with a 6His tag at C-terminus. Protein function: Acts as a scavenger receptor on macrophages, which specifically binds to OxLDL (oxidized low density lipoprotein), suggesting that it may be involved in pathophysiology such as atherogenesis. Induces a strong chemotactic response. Induces calcium mobilization. Binds to CXCR6/Bonzo. [The UniProt Consortium]
