THAL-SNS-032 is a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) containing the cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (Cdk2), Cdk7, and Cdk9 inhibitor SNS-032 (Cay-17904) linked to a cereblon (CRBN) binding moiety. It selectively induces degradation of Cdk9 over Cdk1, Cdk2, and Cdk7 in MOLT-4 cells when used at a concentration of 250 nM. THAL-SNS-032 inhibits human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) replication in infected human foreskin fibroblasts (HFFs, EC50s = 0.025 µM).
