Edecesertib

Edecesertib is an inhibitor of IL-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK4, IC50 = 0. nM). It is selective for IRAK4 over a panel of 484 additional kinases at 1,000 nM. Edecesertib inhibits toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) agonist-induced IFN-alpha production in isolated human whole blood (IC50 = 124 nM). Dietary administration of edecesertib (0.07% w/w in chow) reduces proteinuria and decreases plasma levels of TNF-alpha and IL-12 in an NZBWF1 mouse model of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
