DS9300 is an inhibitor of histone acetyltransferase p300 (IC50 = 28 nM). It inhibits acetylation of lysine 27 on histone H3 (H3K27) in LK-2 cells (IC50 = 54 nM). DS9300 inhibits the growth of VCaP prostate cancer cells (GI50 = 0.6 nM). In vivo, DS9300 (0.3-3 mg/kg) reduces tumor volume in a VCaP castrated mouse xenograft model.
