Co 101244 is an antagonist of NR1A/2B subunit-containing NMDA receptors (IC50 = 0. µM). It is selective for NR1A/2B subunit-containing NMDA receptors over NR1A/2A and NR1A/2C subunit-containing NMDA receptors (IC50s = >100 µM for both). In vivo, Co 101244 reduces the number of seizures induced by maximum electroshock (MES) in mice (ED50 = 1. mg/kg).. Solulibility: DMSO: Soluble: = 10 mg/ml: Ethanol: Soluble: = 10 mg/ml, PBS (pH 7.2): Sparingly soluble: 1-10 mg/ml.
