Product information "Transglutaminase 2/TGM2 Protein(C-6His) (recombinant mouse)"
Protein Construction: Recombinant Mouse Transglutaminase 2 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala2-Ala686 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Sequence: Ala2-Ala686. Fusion tag: C-6His Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per µg as determined by the LAL method. Apparent Molecular Mass: 70-80 kDa. Protein function: Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 2 (TGM2) is a 78-kDa, calcium dependent enzyme,It belongs to the transglutaminase superfamily and transglutaminase family. The protein encoded by this TGM2 gene acts as a monomer, is induced by retinoic acid, and appears to be involved in apoptosis. TGM2 is the autoantigen implicated in celiac disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Protein function: Catalyzes the cross-linking of proteins and the conjugation of polyamines to proteins.
