Recombinant Human Vascular Non-Inflammatory Molecule 2 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Gln23-Ser492 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Amidohydrolase that hydrolyzes specifically one of the carboamide linkages in D-pantetheine thus recycling pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and releasing cysteamine. Involved in the thymus homing of bone marrow cells. May regulate beta-2 integrin-mediated cell adhesion, migration and motility of neutrophil. [The UniProt Consortium]
