Recombinant Human Guanylyl Cyclase C is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ser24-Gln430 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein function: Receptor for the E.coli heat-stable enterotoxin (E.coli enterotoxin markedly stimulates the accumulation of cGMP in mammalian cells expressing GC-C). Also activated by the endogenous peptides guanylin and uroguanylin. [The UniProt Consortium]
