It serves as a receptor for the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family of growth factors. Upon activation, ERBB2 triggers the MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway, leading to the phosphorylation and inhibition of GSK3B at the cell membrane.
