Product information "FITC-equivalent Human CCR4 Protein-Nanodisc"
Recombinant FITC-equivalent Human CCR4 Protein-Nanodisc is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-terminus.It contains Met1-Leu360. CC chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4) is a chemokine receptor mainly expressed by T cells. CCR4 is important in the pathogenesis of many diseases, such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, asthma, dermatitis, and cancer. This review briefly characterizes CCR4 and its ligands (CCL17, CCL22, and CCL2), and their contributions to immunological and neoplastic diseases. Protein function: High affinity receptor for the C-C type chemokines CCL17/TARC, CCL22/MDC and CKLF isoform 1/CKLF1. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G(i) proteins which activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Can function as a chemoattractant homing receptor on circulating memory lymphocytes and as a coreceptor for some primary HIV-2 isolates. In the CNS, could mediate hippocampal-neuron survival.
