An inhibitor of VPS34 (IC50 = 15 nM), selective for VPS34 over PI3Kdelta (IC50 = 802 nM) and PI3Kalpha, PI3Kbeta, and PI3Kgamma (IC50s = >802 nM for all), increases intratumoral levels of LC3-II, a marker of autophagy but does not reduce tumor volume in an RKO colon cancer mouse xenograft model at 50 mg/kg twice per day, reduces SARS-CoV-2 viral titers in isolated human lung tissue at 2.5 and 5 µM.
