An inhibitor of Mal homodimerization and TLR signaling, inhibits the secretion of TNF-alpha induced by agonists of TLR9, -7, -2, or -4 in RAW 264.7 macrophages (IC50s = 2.7, 6.03, 7.37, and 6.38 µM, respectively), reduces LPS-induced increases in TNF-alpha levels in mouse plasma at 100 and 200 mg/kg.
