TGN 020

TGN 020 is an aquaporin-4 (AQP4) inhibitor (IC50 = 3.1 µM in X. laevis oocytes transfected with AQP4). It reduces brain edema and cortical infarction size in a mouse model of transient focal cerebral ischemia induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) when administered at a dose of 200 mg/kg.
