TC-DAPK6

TC-DAPK6 is an inhibitor of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1) and DAPK3 (IC50s = 69 and 225 nM, respectively). It is selective for DAPK1 and DAPK3 over 47 other kinases at 10 µM. Hollow mesoporous silica nanocarriers (HMSNs) encapsulating TC-DAPK6 increase the latency to fall and distance traveled on the rod in the rotarod test and decrease the time spent in the center in the open field test in a mouse model of kainic acid-induced epilepsy..
