SirReal1-O-Propargyl

SirReal1-O-propargyl is an inhibitor of sirtuin 2 (SIRT2, IC50 = 2.4 µM) and a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) building block. It is selective for SIRT2 over SIRT1 (IC50 = >100 µM). When conjugated with azido-thalidomide (Cay26146), SirReal1-O-propargyl has been used in the synthesis of a PROTAC that drives SIRT2 degradation in cells.
