RepSox (2-[3-(6-Methyl-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]-1,5-naphthyridine, E-616452)

Cell-permeable. A TGF-b type I receptor (ALK5) inhibitor. Inhibits ALK5 autophosphorylation (IC??=4nM). Can replace one of the four reprogramming factors Sox-2. RepSox has been successfully used in the direct reprogramming of mouse fibroblasts through induction of Nanog transcription. Solubility: DMSO (>20mg/ml), Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
