ML-402 is an activator of the two-pore domain potassium channels K2P2.1/TREK-1 and K2P10.1/TREK-2. It selectively activates K2P2.1/TREK-1 and K2P10.1/TREK-2 expressed in Xenopus oocytes (EC50s = 13. and 5. µM, respectively) over K2P4.1/TRAAK expressed in Xenopus oocytes at 100 µM..
