M435-1279 is an inhibitor of ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2T (UBE2T). It binds to UBE2T (Kd = 50.5 µM), inhibits UBE2T-mediated degradation of receptor for activated C kinase 1 (RACK1), and reduces hyperactive Wnt/beta-catenin signaling. M435-1279 reduces the viability of MKN45 and AGS gastric cancer cells when used at concentrations ranging from 4 to 32 µM.
