IHMT-MST1-58

IHMT-MST1-58 is an inhibitor of mammalian Ste20-like protein kinase 1 (MST1, IC50 = 23 nM). It is selective for MST1 over MST2 and NIMA-related kinase 3 (NEK3, IC50s = 652 and >10,000 nM, respectively). IHMT-MST1-58 (50 mg/kg per day) reduces fasting blood glucose levels in mice in models of type 1- or type 2 diabetes induced by streptozotocin (Item No. 13104) or by a high-fat diet and streptozotocin, respectively.
