GluN1/3A-IN-2 is an inhibitor of NR1/3A and NR1/3B subunit-containing NMDA receptors (IC50s = 1.56 and 0.12 µM, respectively). It is selective for NR1/3A and NR1/3B subunit-containing NMDA receptors over those containing NR1/2A subunits (IC50 = >30 µM). GluN1/3A-IN-2 inhibits glycine-induced currents in a whole-cell patch-clamp assay using HEK293 cells expressing NR1/3A subunit-containing NMDA receptors.
