CYM 50260 is an agonist of sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 4 (S1P4). It induces gene transcription in a reporter assay using U2OS cells expressing human S1P4 (EC50 = 45 nM). CYM 50260 (25 µM) inhibits collagen-induced increases in PDGF-AB secretion from, and phosphorylated heat shock protein 27 (Hsp27) levels in, isolated human platelets. It also inhibits collagen-induced increases in platelet aggregate size.
